IBAK ILP
The IBAK ILP (Laser Profiler) reliably identifies and measures pipe deformations. Deformation measurements are performed with a laser diode installed on a sewer inspection camera (TRITON, PANORAMO, PANORAMO 150, ORION, JUNO or ORPHEUS). Various laser extenders and holders are available, depending on the pipe diameter and the camera type.
The operating principle of the laser profiler is based on a laser ring that is projected on the pipe wall and then recorded by the camera in operation at the time. The software computes the data and compiles a 3D model of the pipe geometry. In addition, it offers the possibility of generating two-dimensional unfolded views and graphs.
With the graph function, all required information on diameter, ovality, deformation, corrosion, capacity in per cent, minimum and maximum diameter and horizontal and vertical diameter (X and Y) in mm can be determined.
The data of the complete recording can be viewed and passed on at any time with a licence-free Viewer.
The system achieves high measuring precision (max. tolerance 0.5%). The IBAK laser profiler is an internationally recognised measuring instrument and is certified by the WRC (Water Research Council) in the United Kingdom. Various laser adapters made of carbon are available for the IBAK cameras.
